|
|
- WinSale includes a complete Accounts Receivable
system to help you track and collect your in-house accounts. All
charge transaction are instantly and automatically updated to the
customers’ record, giving you up-to-the- minute account information.
|
- The system handles three type of accounting methods simultaneously:
-
Open Item Accounts with payments
applied to individual invoices and finance charges calculated on
open balances.
-
Balance Forward Accounts with finance
charges calculated against total open balances, regardless of
payments made.
-
Revolving Charge Accounts with minimum
payment amounts and periodic finance charges.
|
- WinSale contains a built-in charge-to feature
allowing you to bill merchandise to Major Accounts who offer to pay a
percentage of their employee's clothing, footwear, etc. This feature
allows for correct distribution of payments to the corresponding
employee charges. It will also allow you to print invoices with detail other employee information (Social Security
number, employee number, etc.
|
- Finance Charges are calculated and printed with the
click of the mouse! Finance charges may be split based on the total
balance due. (1.5% under $500, 1% over $500, etc.), and can be applied
to all accounts with an outstanding balance or just those accounts
which did not make a minimum payment.
|
- Statements are completely user definable, so
pre-printed or system generated statements may be used. Invoice
details may be included on statements, which can be printed when you
close out your month. Statements can also be reproduced in the middle
of the month by customer for use as "reminders". Personal
notes to your customers may also be included on your statements in
order to get a quicker response to your collection efforts!
|
- Complete customer purchase and payment history can be
viewed from the accounts receivable screen. Customer account
information may also be viewed from the point of sale screen, with
credit limits displayed directly on the tender screen for easy
reference. Slow paying customers can be put on credit hold so that a
sale to the customer’s account can not be complete unless released
by a manager with the correct password authority!
|
- Payments made on accounts are accepted at the point
of sale or may be limited to acceptance at a credit office. For
auditing purposes, the salesperson’s number and the tender type are
recorded, along with comments, such as a note with the customer’s
check number.
|
- One Button monthly close our feature allows for
almost effortless end of month procedures.
|
- WinSale will even help you with charge account
collection! We offer a Collections Letter option that functions like
our mailing label program. You write a series of collection letters
and then sort your house account customer by balance due and last
payment date. The system will automatically print letters to those
customers!
